The Chills, David Kilgour, Evolver, Carey’s Bay, Dunedin

I wish there was more I could write, We had taken a trip to Larnach castle which delayed getting to the gig on time, for those that know dunedin geography can tell you that neither of these two locations, Carey’s bay in Port Chalmers and the Castle are near by. We caught Evolvers set as it was finishing, Now we knew very little about this pop four piece playing on the barge,the melodies were tight, but because of the location it seemed that the vocals were getting lost across the water and being drowned out by the significant sized crowd.
Due to time constraints of having to drive back to christchurch we only caught a small amount of David Kilgour and the Heavy Eights, but we knew we’d catch them again in christchurch on their tour soon enough.
