30 Day Song/Photo Challenge Day 6

Day 06 – A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day and a song that reminds you of somewhere

Ok, day 6 is late because of flat related dramas which I will go into later when I’m a little less pissed off about the whole thing.

I think with my mindset right now, the picture for today/yesterday is something I’ve struggled a little to think of a good answer for.

I’ve decided to go with the 1950’s housewife.
I think I’d like to swap with her because life was more simple in the 1950’s. I’d be expected to bake, clean and do some arts and crafts. I wouldn’t be expected to deal with the work related crap I’m going through, and my husband (I’d probably be married and sprogged up by my age back then) would have to deal with making sure I had a roof over my head. – Thanks David for sorting that out for me last night. You’re a hero. I’ll bake you a big vegan cake when I get an oven to say thanks, just like a 1950’s housewife would.

Now for my song for yesterday:

Dudley Benson’s Its Akaroa’s Fault… reminds me of the beauty of Banks Peninsula. When I eventually publish a blog post I’ve been working on for ages I will explain this more.
