A non linear photo essay of T’Nealle and myself in London pt 2- The IKEA chronicle

So it was a dark and typically London stormy night.

Sitting on the 341, but not to Waterloo… we took it to Waterloo, but then we also took it to Angel… which is the complete other end of the line.

With a quick stop to pick up a key in Brick lane…

BTW, this was during the Tube Strikes.

We made it to IKEA, in the rain, at 9:55pm. IKEA closes at 10pm. We only wanted Hotdogs.

We got the last 4 hotdogs they had.

We had a lucky day.

Then we went to Tesco. Its open 24 hours, and our shoes both had holes in them. So our socks were soaked.

We got some pies at Tesco, forgetting that pies in the UK are awful. We regretted it. Then took the bus back to my warehouse flat and dried off.

The next day, through terrible luck and some masterful working the National Rail trains, buses and running we made it to the Globe to see the Merry Wives of Windsor.

A small win from an otherwise frustrating transport hell weekend.
