While my Chicken Masala is cooking I shall inform you of what I’ve been up to.
DDD came to stay and we had a fun weekend. Melinda had a birthday so myself, robyn, and carl took hold of her lounge for pizza and election watching. Melinda and I caught (apparently) most of DDD at the Jetset after we realised there was no winner in the election.
Sunday I took off sick thanks to much bad cramps and my runny nose being exceptionally runny. I blame that on standing in the rain at Little River on Thursday measuring up a building.- my life is bliss like that.
Monday I went to lectures, only to be sent home after History because the polytech had closed. Hoorah. Also a hoorah for me not dying while traversing the city to drop Chris to work and then go to tech and then home again. Snow brings out the retards on the road…. especially fun when the snow is so thick on your windscreen you can barely see a meter in front.
Tuesday was meh. I finished an assignment I should have handed in the day before and took it to my tutor. He looked at me funny when I handed him my model and my craptacular sample board. Then I had to go back over Riccarton way to pick Chris up from work because he’d blown a tyre. By the time I’d got there though, he’d pretty nearly fixed his bike.
So I was a bit grumpy cause the petrol light was shining brightly.
Anyhow, later we decided to pop down to old hoyts 8 to see SIN CITY. It was pretty good. I know the books kind of, so I guess I’m not fanatical enough to nit-pick the flaws.
SO today I ventured over to Carolines, having to finally put some fuel in the car on the way due to it nearly stalling 5 times whilst driving Montreal St. It was angry for not having enough petrol. So yeah, the rest is pretty boring. Not that this has been very thrilling.
Bite me.
