Bowling is fun

This weekend has been the most active in about 5 years for me. Yeah, I know I’ve ranted like crazy about being finished all my studies, but 5 years is a bloody long time to devote to the gaining of knowledge…. and also a bloody long time to rake up some significant student loans.

Friday night I had a party, thanks to all that attended in honour of my achievements and my soon to be dole bludger status.

Saturday night was chris’s christmas thing for his work… costume parties are fun, there is no denying this. Some truely awesome costumes, but people suck with their music tastes.

tired

I’m tired, and its not because I woke up put on clothes and drove Chris to work because of the bad weather.
I’m tired because unemployment is tiring. No money, no motivation to do anything interesting. I know its only been a week but I already can see it happening all over again. Just like when I quit uni.

I had marvelous plans of all the painting, sewing and constructing I was going to do but I’m just too tired with life to be bothered with any of it.

So t&s are playing japan in early January…. *sigh* one can only hope they get asked on the BDO tour…
In other news, Sarah is coming to dinner so I’ve been making vegetarian delights, and tiramisu

I had drinks with my classmates last night, weird to think I’ll never see them again, well perhaps at graduation in march.
I’m waiting for the stuff in the oven to finish cooking so I can go over to the pool. I washed the windows and mowed the lawn today…. I also have cleaned some rooms of the house.

Less than half an hour ago I finished my last assignments. I feel like a huge weight has come off my shoulders.
Now its time to get ready for the a million lights gig tonight. tomorrow… I think I’ll go swimming…. ahh living across the road from a pool is finally going to reap some benefits. Read more →

Fran’s graduate exhibition!!!

yes, my illustrious classmates and I are holding our graduate exhibition this week at the Christchurch Convention Centre on Kilmore Street, (opposite the town hall)
its open from 9-5pm daily and till noon on Saturday (yes we are open show day)
