Before embarking on this massive trip I spent the night in Barrytown with some wonderful people. It was one of those crazy nights you don’t know how it was going to pan out.

These pictures only show us hanging out in the bar… not the nice time on the beach later

Looking at the photos I miss some people like crazy. I realise it looking over these things. Some people who weren’t even there I miss heaps. I wish they could have come on this journey with me, but I don’t think I’d achieve my goals if they did. It sucks.

I got a wicked hangover. Not surprised.

The worst part was waking up early to go to the Pisco Elqui valley. Yup. PISCO valley. Where they make booze.

But in summary. Pisco is super alcoholic.

Kind of like a better tasting paint stripper.

The bus ride is long.

We get home only to be invited out drinking in Coquimbo. (My mother’s accidental town of birth)

Caroline saw me off at Auckland airport. We completely missed each other at Laneway. Laneway was interesting, kind of weird. I had a very long hug with David as I said goodbye, and continually apologised for the state of the Log Cabin.

This is on Cristi’s balcony in Santiago. Waiting for my Aunt and Uncle to come take me for a 5 hour drive to La Serena. After 30 hours of travelling, what’s 5 more in a car?

Lan lost my luggage in LA, so I borrowed a t-shirt from Joseph, Opeth.

This is in my cousin Pauli’s apartment

We went for a walk with her friends through the city.
