I owe them to at least Mandi, Genie and Lisa. I&#8217;ve been really slack in doing them though.<\/p>\n<p>I made an NZ music mix cd and have been listening to it for 3 days in a row now, trying to decide if these are the songs I really want to put out there for all to hear to reflect songs I like locally.<\/p>\n<p>The key thing is actually less about the songs themselves but the production values of one song to the next. Some sound more&#8230; polished than others. Side by side, it makes otherwise awesome songs sound a little flat.<\/p>\n<p>I tend to stick to pretty simple formulas when making a tape for others. I guess I mean with like, the types of songs I open with, and end with. How track 7 always seems to be a song I am totally in lust with. Lust because the way I adore songs seems to be like, I am obsessed for a month or two, constantly playing it, then all of a sudden I have a new song, and I don&#8217;t think about the old song again in that way.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">I&#8217;ve been making a pile of mix cds lately.
