the ocean is the cure

today started out dubious at best.
I fell asleep last night on the couch with an unfinished speech in front of me on the laptop while Chris watched Brazil which he had just bought. I woke up this morning realising I hadn’t finished the speech which I was intending to do and didn’t have my slides sorted either for this presentation. I went to the lecture late, I had planned to cycle since it was nice out, but had to drive, with the plan I’d come home, finish the speech and do the slides before cycling back to school to present.

sorry, i really had to.

anyway, i’m off to auckland for a week, I usually don’t mind flying but after watching that plane crash on the news I’m actually a little on edge this time. I’m sure it will be fine though.

I have one week to also write an essay on the future of the new zealand house. so if you have any opinions, educated or not, I’d like to hear what you think about where new zealand domestic architecture is headed.
