Last night I spent 7 hours sitting round the emergency room of Christchurch Hospital. My brother has tonsillitis, and had a fever (39 degrees) and a heart rate of around 130. So being the delightful sister that I am, I dragged my sorry ass off the couch (I was watching Gangs of New York- It was nearly finished too) and went to his house and picked up daisy and joff and dragged his sorry ass to the hospital. It only took 50 minutes of waiting before we saw a nurse, which is pretty decent if anyone knows how busy the ER is at Christchurch hospital.
Month: July 2005
its raining you know.
I’m whimpering like a baby because Tegan and Sara are playing at Auckland Uni on the 24th of August.
I wish they would come to Christchurch, or have played in Auckland 2 weeks earlier.
Die!Die!Die! stayed with us on the weekend, what delightful lads they are. The Shihad gig was great, as always, although I missed most of the encore due to being backstage… I heard it, though I really should have stayed round to SEE it.
